Princesses. Grandma's, and Puppies???

The first two kind of go together I guess....Maureen's Mom and Maureen. The next is called Abuela. And the third...which I thought was a mermaid...turns out it's a Puppy Dog.

Mia the Artist....

Sorry, I know it's been a while....but here are some of her latest masterpieces! The first is The Volcano, the next one is called The Zoo, the third is The Ring Store (which has a story to it, but you'd have to let Mia tell you about it), and the last...my favorite...is The Beach. The other night Mia told us that she is an artist, and that she can draw anything that she thinks of! I'm so proud!!!

I came home yesterday to more masterpieces....The first is a duck or a bird of some sort, which I find interesting, because oddly enough...I killed a bird today when it dive bombed my car! : ( The second, (Lawrence was a bit embarrassed when he told me the title) Angry Man with his daughter.....hrrmmm.

Mia's interpretations of me, Lawrence(although I think it could pass for young Tara), and the last is you guessed it...an alien....with boobs....and this is straight from Mia's mouth. I just hope she wasn't modeling them after mine.....

Okay, I know this is not Mia's art, but I figured since it is in her room, it can go on her blog. This is the first thing I've painted in a really really long time....too long, that considered, I'm quite pleased with how they turned out! I still need to detail the leaves and I want to add an owl, but I thought it was ready for the public.

We eat, Mia draws...well colors. I even encourage her to go outside of the lines if she wants....but grandpa tought her to always stay in....not bad for a 3 year old!! (well, almost 4)

Skonberg or Picasso???

I'm beginning a blog for Mia...she's become quite the little artist here lately, so I thought you might all like to see what she's been up to! These are a few of my favorites that she's done in the last month or so...I asked her what she wanted to name them and she was very adamant that the first is a shark....we think whale, but it came from her head, so Shark it is. The second is Princess Jessica from Mexico. The third is Interesting Up Thing...remember these are her names. The next one is The Princess and Monster, both of them Mad . And her last piece is titled Mama & Baby....notice the stars in her eyes! We will keep you all posted when she produces new works of art!
